I originally intended for this blog to be more balanced. But it appears that I am a hopeless Christian nerd, as a friend of mine once put it.
The Gospel of JC is…simple, but also complex. My prayer for those of you that seek to understand but don’t to mediate on it, and ask GOD, our LORD Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit will teach you. I don’t understand it totally myself. I know that Jesus Christ died for our sins, that if any man accepts Him as Lord and Saviour, he will be saved.
What is the Gospel? It is Good News! The good news is that you have a way to get to heaven. Heaven is a perfect place where we will have no more worries, suffering, and tears. I have a pet theory that heaven is actually out there; like in Star Trek 5 The Final Frontier. But that it’s an outer sphere to that of our physical universe. It’s extremely far away. No starship could take us there. I found estimates that the universe is 156 billion light years wide. Just as man reaches to heaven but falls short (way, way short). We can never hope to get to heaven under our own steam. Jesus Christ can take you there. After all He is GOD and is all-powerful. In the Holy Bible, it says that when you die (as a believer), His angels will usher you there. I really look forward to that. (more…)
