Is GOD Unfair?

Not at all, never, never, never. I dare not. But, I now think of arguing against GOD as pictured as sawing off a branch you’re sitting on. He is the source. He makes the rules. Our very notion of justice comes from Him. So, what do I mean? If there has been injustices in your life. Now that I’m almost 40, whatta I think? Romans 11 again, we have been bound to disobedience so that GOD might have mercy on all. I’ve committed a lot of wrongs/trespasses, but does that now at my understanding make me want to curl up into a ball? Sometimes. But, now, it gives me the chance to reach out and help others that struggled with the same problem. But more than that, GOD is loved, when we realize He forgives us and cleanses us. If I haven’t said it before, “I’m Sorry”.

But, you have been blessed, your family will be blessed through you. Don’t let things people may think or say discourage you from the Truth. Every person is a blessing on the earth. There are no ‘useless’, or ‘waste’ of people.

If you struggled or still struggle with some sin(s), just pray for delieverance, and GOD will faithfully come from you. Things take time, patience must be developed, pnishments must be taken, and sometimes it is just GOD’s timing, we have to wait. I don’t have the answers, I’m just unloading things that come into my head. Doing my part to pass on messages or thoughts that’s all. I’m no better or worse than anyone else. My ‘boast’ is that I know the LORD and He knows me. Everyone should know Him. Humbly -j

When is the End?

Some say it is coming soon, but after reading the Bible from beginning to end, in order. I have a different take. It says in Romans 11 that ALL ISRAEL WILL BE SAVED. Has that happened? No, Israel just recently in the 1940s reformed as a country. Again in Romans 11, how is Israel to be saved? By us Gentiles. How? My theory is that Gentiles, blessed financially somehow, will want to live in Israel. Because in Zechariah, we must ‘Pilgrammage’ to Israel for the feast of Tabernacles if it is the time, if we have means. When the Gentiles start moving into Israel and worshipping the ‘Israel’ GOD, YHWH. It will be quite a picture of a rainbow. All nations, all peoples praising the LORD. This might be the start of the Jews coming back to the LORD and believing in Jesus Christ as the Messiah.

Do As I Say or Don’t Do As I Say

It’s a funny thing working w/ the Spirit of the LORD. He wants to be the prime mover and affector of men and women’s souls. Sometimes He doesn’t and wants us to get credit and help us to grow. To give Him the credit is the best way of all. So when we minister, it seems from Scripture that we have authority to correct, rebuke, judge. But, we can also let the LORD be the LORD as it says. It depends, we must follow the lead of the LORD.

Sometimes, quite often it is better if we don’t say anything. Sometimes it is better if we don’t tell what we know, not because we will be showing off, but because they might follow us. And it’s better they follow the LORD. Sometimes, it is better not to correct and tell them how you do it and why for what Biblical reason, b/c it might not work for them.

Are we Jews or NOt?

That’s a good question I think. In Hebrews there was an order not to require new convert Gentiles to follow Judaism. But how do we reconcile this w/ what the LORD Jesus himself saying that He did not come to abolish the Law but fulfill it. He said every tiny bit of the Law is to be fulfilled (paraphrasing).

I’m a big believer that all of the Old Testament Law stands if you understand them in Spirit and Truth. GOD sees the heart and sincere attempt to obey Him will always please Him. The difference between then and now – the Old Testament and the New Times is that we now have the Spirit of the LORD with us and in us. He has been poured out on all flesh it says. So even unbelievers are washed by the Spirit. And even unbelievers are ‘working’ for the LORD. As it is said, this is the best of times but also worst of times. Those who follow Jesus have the Spirit and will learn to follow the Voice of the Shepherd. That is a higher and better Way than following the dead letter of the law. Surprisingly, when you are following the very Spirit of the LORD you are above the Law, for in abiding in Him, you are One with the LORD.

So do we have to obey or not. Yes, we must obey the LORD fully. But why the confusion? First of all, being a Jew or Israelite is not an ethnic category only. A true Israelite is from the heart, so that anyone who follows the LORD is called an Israelite or Jew. They are GOD’s people. So I don’t have reservations calling myself a Jew, even though I’m not. I’m not being arrogant, I hope you see.

So why were people not required to follow the Laws fully? The missing piece of info is in Acts. After praying and conferring, it was decided that the Gentiles were only to follow 5? Jewish Laws in that it would not be too difficult to be a follower of the LORD. That’s all. The early fathers were training up the followers as babies. They didn’t want to discourage them from the faith. But when you are maturing in Christ, you have to obey and as you gain more understanding of the Law, you have to follow those too. Christ’s blood covers you and is ready to cover at any time for such is the grace of the LORD. But just as we slowly come out from under the covering of our earthly parents as we mature, the LORD allows us to shine and grow in wisdom and power and ‘make moves of our own’. He gives us more independence but not independence really for we must always cling to Him. The best way I can say it is He grows us.

What is it to Watch?

Watchings or not sleeping is in the Bible as well as fasting. I don’t find many references to this, except the LORD Jesus asked his core 3 to watch and pray with Him before going to the cross. Why watch? Because just like overeating, some have a tendency to oversleep. Love of sleeping can be a snare and through watchings you will throw off that which will stop the ‘real you’ from shining through. During the watches of the night, you will have no choice but to talk to the LORD. Everyone is sleeping. And it is during this time that the LORD will often speak. In this quiet, there is nothing to compete with His Voice. Don’t be surprised if He startes to teach you all kinds of wonderful things – as He did/does to the shepherds who watch the sheep through the night.

What is a watch? It is to as I said, but there are guarding aspects to it. It is also good practice for men as we need to be vigilant and ‘watchful’ for simple physical invasions and attempts to take from us (robberries, burgularies, etc.) and it is also good to be awake for emergencies. What if a loved one across the country or world needs help?

Just as there are 12 hours of daylight, there are 12 hours of night. They can be broken up into watches or shifts. Four hour shifts are standard, but I think three hour shifts are good too. I’m not sure, but it seems okay. This is not for all the time, but just as we are called to fast sometimes, we can watch too. Humbly, -j

GOD created in six days? How about six milliseconds?

Just a whimsical thought. A carefullly careless reading, a theory at best. A careful reading of Genesis, we’ll see that things were created between the days – at twilight. So maybe GOD created things in a flash between days. Like that old twilight zone (the new twilight zone show that didn’t last that long) where blue people were building time within somekind of alternate reality and like the DiCaprio movie recently. Or maybe not because a day is like a thousand years and a thousand years like a day. It’s also possible that things were created in 6 thousand years rather six days. Or both,

Like the wind, I’m back

Hi, I’m back and would just like to say the people of GOD are extraordinarily tough people. Through many fastings, watchings, and sufferings, we follow our LORD and gain victory over all. I’m finally watching the HBO documentary Friends of GOD. My notes on the next post or the comments box of this one.
